To continue this series, I’m sharing instruments information used in the testing.  I can’t explain how the healing works but I can show you how they determine the changes possibly.  I believe this will give energy medicine more credibility.

Another practitioner shared  a PDF paper, Art, Science and Spirit of Electro Photon Imaging, that is dealing with energography and bioelectrography. This is incorporating mental and spiritual measurements along with the physical, a way to address the whole person in energy medicine. Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, who I’ve mentioned in the earlier blogs, has used EPC/GDV in the Reconnective Healing studies.

A book published in 1893 entitled “Electro photosphenes and energography as a Proof of Existence of the Physiological Polar Energy” was written by Dr. Messira Pogorelsky from St. Petersburg. He described his experiments in bioelectrography. Bioelectrography is defined as a newly emerging science of visualising conscious processes in living objects. Newly? Guess the dictionary folks didn’t know about the studies in 1893.

Dr. Konstantin Korotkov uses a machine he created, the EPC. “The EPC method measures electron densities in human systems and organs, as well as the character of the stimulated electron currents. These electron densities are the fundamental basis of the physiological energy, so we can say with confidence that the EPC method makes it possible to measure the body’s potential energy reserve.”

The GDV ( Gas Discharge Visualization) gives an estimation of the functional state of the human during the EPC testing. A special camera captures the electronic glow of this discharge which is invisible to the human eye.

To quote from Korotkov’s website: “The EPC method is based on the stimulation of photon and electron emissions from the surface of the object whilst transmitting short electrical pulses. In other words, when the object is placed in an electromagnetic field, it is primarily electrons, and to a certain degree photons, which are ‘extracted’ from the surface of the object. This process is called ‘photo-electron emissions’ and it has been quite well studied with physical electronic methods. The emitted particles accelerate in the electromagnetic field, generating electronic avalanches on the surface of the dielectric (glass). This process is called ‘sliding gas discharge’. The discharge causes glow due to the excitement of molecules in the surrounding gas, and this glow is what is being measured by the EPC method. Therefore, voltage pulses stimulate optoelectronic emission whilst intensifying this emission in the gas discharge, owing to the electric field created.”

But the exciting part is this: They can show the influence of mental, emotional and spiritual processes on EPI/GDV images.

“An interesting aspect of EPI applications is the research into consciousness processes. Many years of experimentation have made it possible to identify bioelectrographic correlates of altered states of consciousness (ASC) [Bundzen et al, 2000; 2002]. These are particular states, which a person enters during meditation, mental training, religious ecstasy, or when under the influence of drugs, psychedelics or anesthesia. For many years we have been measuring Russian extrasensories, Candamblier priests in Brazil, participants of the Ayahuasca ceremony in Peru [Korotkov, 2002, 2003], Chinese Qi-gong masters, and healers in Germany, the USA, and Slovenia [Measuring Energy Fields, 2004]. And almost all of these observations we obtain signs characteristic of ASC. Similar results, using the most diverse devices and methods, were obtained in the laboratories of different countries [Radin, 1997; Milton, 1996]. This shows that the processes of consciousness are apparent on the physiological processes measured by the EPI method.” (Also from Dr. Korotkov’s website)

More to come.

Does this alter your thinking about alternative modalities? Does having a way to measure our spiritual and mental processes change your perception about healing?
