In the first and second blogs of this series I talked about the a few of the studies that were done with plants and plant leaves and Reconnective Healing™. For this blog, I’m going to report some of the findings that have resulted from testing both the practitioners and the clients with Reconnective Healing™.
The scientists who have conducted many of these tests are Dr. Gary Schwartz, PhD, Professor at University of Arizona, Dr. William Tiller, PhD, Professor Emeritus at Stanford University and Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, Professor of Physics at St. Petersburg State Technical University, Russia.
Here are some of the findings:
- In Reconnective Healing™ sessions, both the practitioner and the clients absorb the frequencies.
- Reconnective Healing™ triggers significant changes in brain activity and heart activity for both the practitioner and the client. Brain activity was recorded EEG scans while the heart activity was recorded using ECG scans.
- Levels of gamma radiation absorption changes were shown to occur during the sessions. Normally a body emits a harmless low level of gamma radiation. Both the practitioner and the client were shown to absorb the gamma radiation during the sessions.
- Other research into various systems of bioenergy healing has shown a link between absorption of gamma radiation and healing.
- Dr. Tiller did several studies in the Reconnective Healing™ seminar rooms. He would monitor several hours before the seminar started to the end of the course. Dr. Tiller’s studies demonstrated that this new continuum of healing frequencies impressively and conclusively increases what science calls “excess free thermodynamic energy,” something released or produced, to a small degree, with energy healing.
-
“When Dr. Korotkov measured the attendees during the experiment, he reported that “the results were very, very strong and very, very different” than anything he had measured before in his work with the athletes. Specifically, he reported that the effects of Reconnective Healing on the athletes and their energy levels were “hugely significant”. On average, each of the athletes and test subjects experienced a significant increase in their energy levels. On average the bio-energy field increase for each person was 17% or more! Korotkov was very impressed with the results as were the athletes, who reported that they could obviously feel the frequencies and the benefits they were experiencing in their bodies.” (From The Reconnection)
I will share additional findings in the next blog. I wanted to keep these short.
One of the reasons I was drawn to this work was that Dr. Eric Pearl asked scientists to study this to help him understand it and to prove to many that this is for real. Yet the scientists could not answer the main question: How do the healings occur? So we are taught to be comfortable with the words “I don’t know.
What draws you to try alternative therapies? Do you believe there is value in using them? Do the results shared here alter your thinking?
The very fact that they are attempting to do research and measure results makes a difference to me. It’s too easy otherwise for people who believe in a system to just say “it works” and not make the effort to demonstrate the benefits or ensure that the benefits are replicable. This is fascinating information, and I would like to know more about what they are actually measuring when they measure “frequencies” – what does that mean? what equipment is used?
Thank you for continuing this series and giving us a window into this world.

It was Dr. Pearl who asked that the scientists study this. He didn’t understand what was going on and he needed to verify for himself that these things were happening. He hasn’t gotten his answer as to how they happen but he knows it does happen, that it is repeatable, etc. Each scientist used their own equipment, of course! And they each had their own specialty. Dr. Tiller used his equipment that measured the thermodynamic energy fields in the room where the seminar is held. Dr. Korotkov has his machines that can read the biofield around. And he has other machines. I myself was part of Dr. Ann Baldwin’s study that measures the amount of energy flow from the fingers. She works with Dr. Gary Schwartz. I had to sit very still with my hand being read line by line from fingertips to base of fingers several times without moving and my ear being hooked up to the machine to measure my heart through all this. I did this before the seminar started and after. In the after session, we were asked to ignite, engage the frequencies at some point as well. I wasn’t permitted to watch the results as I was being tested because she said we could create a biofeedback effect. After the last test, she showed me both results that showed much more energy being read in the fingers after the seminar. It was a light beam that started above the finger tips and was slowly moving down the fingers to the knuckle area and it took about 18-20 minutes for the cycling read to complete. I hope this helps. I have tried to read the articles written by these dry writing scientists and understand their language. Maybe I’ll include some of their links and you can read them!
Thanks for the extra detail, Julieanne. How wonderful that you got to participate as in the research–makes it so much more alive than just reading the published paper. Fascinating stuff!
AlthoughI am very analytical in my thinking, I was drawn to alternative medicine years ago because of its holistic nature—seeing the body as a whole rather than dividing it into parts. I enjoy reading about the ongoing research.
I love alternative medicine and I sometimes wonder why we need the research. It either works or it doesn’t. Believing in magic, prayers and knowing that we can heal ourselves is what we need in this world.
Bringing together energy research with scientific methodology is one of the most exciting fields to me. It is great to measure these things at the same time, the real hard core data comes when results are repeatable.
But isn’t that mostly to satisfy the left brain people? Many eons ago, we so believed in spirits and the sun and prayers and self healing. I would love to see us move that way.
Thank you Julieanne. This is still in such a stage of infancy and acceptance. There is definitely something that is mind blowing about energies and healing. Such as the power of prayer and positive thoughts. We know it can work, we just don’t know how.

Maybe we don’t need to know how. There have been many cures that doctors attributed to a miracle. There is no difference between that and energy methods that result in healings. It’s a time of rejoicing and gratitude. No answer will ever be sufficient to explain it.
I am still very new to energy healing but I have little doubt that it works having received several of these treatments over the past couple of years. I agree that there is so much to be learned – and as we do so to accept that the answer can certainly be “I don’t know…yet.” I think we sometimes try to explain things in ways that we already understand and that limits us in truly learning more even as we open our minds to the possibilities.
So why not look at it as magic or miracles? Doctors have said it’s a miracle about spontaneous healings before and everybody accepts that. Why not accept it here as well? Why must it be explained? I’m asking that of myself as well because we are all trained to want to know why. Maybe it’s time to let go of that and accept what is and be grateful.
Absolutely, Julieanne! I love the idea of looking at as magic or a miracle. Oddly, I think that makes it easier to move into the flow because we’re not stuck on looking for answers.
Exactly. It dawned on me after reading the responses and realizing that I look for answers too and I saw it. It is about getting into the flow! Thanks,
Thanks Julieanne,
This is fascinating information, apparently at the “cutting edge” of discovery. All we know so far is that something is going on with energy therapy.
And I presume this is is just the beginning of the inquiry to discover just what is happening. As this research continues, “what?” questions will begin to generate “how?” questions, and later on “how can we use this?” questions.
I wonder if people 200 years ago sensed how the early evidence of the “germ theory” would revolutionize the practice of medicine. Are we at a similar stage today?

I believe we are at a similar stage. I believe that we can each heal ourselves but we’ve forgotten how. And these new modalities are showing us how to move forward, to accept what we can’t explain but knowing that things can happen outside the realm. Even some medical doctors are accepting this. Although it may make them crazy that they don’t know why. I say why waste all the energy. Accept it as truth and the knowledge may slip in.
Definatley new territory for me. Your blogs are the only things I’ve read on this subject, but I find it very interesting. Just realized that since I have been blessed with very, very good health that I have never researched alternative therapies!

It’s good to have options. For me, the medical community is geared more to masking or covering up the symptoms and not looking for any underlying cause. And I do believe most causes have metaphysical or emotional causes. Stress causes many problems and illnesses for people. Reducing stress and eating healthy are tremendously important.
I am already open to alternative healing … but the scientific proof does help. I find it very interesting that and wonderful that in the healing sessions both the practitioner and client are receiving healing benefit from the experience. This is not what I’ve heard of other alternative disciplines, What a wonderful side benefit!
One day we shall meet and I can FEEL how this all works!;)

In some ways, I wish scientific proof weren’t necessary and yet my left brain likes it too. Maybe when we all truly know we are capable of healing ourselves, this will be a no brainer because at some times, we all need a disinterested third party to set the frequencies aligned in our bodies!
Very interesting Julieanne, I have been involved in alternative healing for 25yrs now and am always interested to learn about new studies and modalities. Thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome. It’s always nice when others understand that something outside the standard medical community can be very beneficial.
Fascinating! And great to have scientific proof for energy healing, because it’s so hard to get most people to try, even if they can see the results that you’ve had yourself.
Yes, and yet when they do try it, they give it one shot. But they will go to the same doctor week after week, year after year with no results.
wow, how interesting Julieanne – a completely new field for me, so I’ll be learning from your blog 🙂
Welcome then. Please contact me if you have any questions or ask them here.
