I had the opportunity to talk about Reconnective Healing to a networking group. Due to this fact, I did some research into the effects of Reconnective Healing. One of the things that drew me to Reconnective Healing was the fact that scientists were brought in from the beginning to study this modality to determine what was happening. Remember I came from a left brain world. I love that research opportunities were utilized.
Even though I’ve always had an interest in spiritual things, I still liked having some confirmations that it could be very real. And the scientists came from various parts of the world and from some prestigious universities and organizations like Dr. William Tiller, professor emeritus at Stanford University, Dr. Konstantin Korotkov from St. Petersburg State Technical University in Russia and Dr. Gary Schwartz at the University of Arizona.
In the training, we are taught to learn 3 little words “I don’t know”. You may be wondering why we are taught that. The answer is simple. The scientists can reproduce the tests, they can prove that this happens or that happens, detail the results. However, they can’t explain why healings and other benefits occur or how. They happen. And the results are permanent.
Long term pains disappear. Tumors shrink or disappear. Moods are eleveated. Stress is relieved and much more. The scientists have shown that one Reconnective Healing session shows significant changes in psychological and immune parameters. The tests revealed that there were general increase of lymphocytes, of helper cells and suppressor cells.
So why is that important? Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell. There are 3 major types of these cells: Natural killer cells, T cells and B cells. These are the cells that are part of our immune system. These cells respond to pathogens and create antibodies to viruses that enter our system. So increasing these types of cells results in boosting immune systems helping us to stay healthy and help us to heal.
This is just one of the results documented by the scientists. The scientists also showed the results were long lasting as well. I’ll report on other findings in another post.
Do you believe in energy therapy is effective? Do you believe that only doctors have the answers? Are you open to try other modalities? Are you ready for some transformation?
I definitely do not believe that doctors have all the answers… in fact, the more experience I have with doctors, the less I think they know about real, living human beings. I think each of us has the power to heal ourselves if we just take the time to pay attention to what’s going on in our bodies.
They are programmed to believe they know it all. And many of us were once programmed to accept everything they said. It’s good to question and question and then question them again. Then do what your heart tells you.
Having been trained and using energy medicine for over 40 years, I used to be much more extreme about not using allopathic medicine. Now I welcome input from all kinds of healing modalities and celebrate how spiritual practices and scientific ones are coming together. One of my favorite energy/spiritual/medical processes right now is the breathtakingly effective BEMER.
I knew you would get it. And yes, there are things that will definitely help us along the way!
I think it is important to be open to all modes of healing. Having seen evidence first hand healings and physical changes brought about by energy healing, I know it can be helpful. I appreciate doctors who are open-minded enough to know that the whole body and mind are involved in the healing process. And that requires more than a pill or an operation.
Plus the spirit. The spirit is the driving force and too many ignore it. Pills merely address the symptoms. Dealing with mind and spirit we address the cause.
I definitely do not believe doctors are the only ones with answers – in fact there is so much that is missed in the efforts of the medical establishment to seemingly only treat the symptom. I teach the Alexander Technique, which is not energy work, or indeed therapy, but is still a modality that falls outside the conventional system, and which has much to offer, as do many other non-traditional methods. In fact our blogs this week are somewhat synchronistic, as I broached the subject of the importance of scientific research to help gain a wider audience for the work. I definitely believe this helps some people try alternative approaches which they wouldn’t otherwise.
Slowly many are waking up to other methods. The costs of doctors and medicine push that not to mention some of the severe side affects!
I think this kind of research being done on alternative methods is essential. Let’s face it, there’s so much potential everywhere for quackery (whether conventional or alternative modes of healing). Only by having some honest and sincere people explore treatments through serious research (it can be highly innovative!) will we have access to all types of knowledge and healing. There are probably so many realms not yet tapped, but maybe some day people will take them for granted.

Yes, it is essential. Yet I recognize that many would prefer to allow others to make their decisions rather than take the responsibility for their own health and healing and the work involved to look inward!
I love that science proves the changes but can’t prove the why of it. The changes do happen and we experience it. Does it really matter why? It works – accept it and enjoy the results!

Agreed. And if you don’t see results, I truly believe you need to look within and determine why you would prefer to remain ill because somehow you are getting something out of remaining ill.
Coming from the healing field of nursing, there are many forms of healing. Some aren’t the “in your face” healing. Such is the power of prayer or others on the same plane of healing. The results can be astounding. Some of it still can’t be explained. Spirituality is respected in the medical field and rightfully so.

Maybe where you work it is respected. I have still run into doctors and nurses who believe their way is the only way. I love the ones with open minds and hearts.
Doctors have all the answers… yeah right. I’ve had more bad medical doctors in my past than I care to count. I grew up in chiropractic care, worked for a chiropractor who practiced NAET (an allergy elimination technique), and just started receiving acupuncture. I believe whole-heartedly in energy healing as everything we do involves energetics and the subconscious mind. I don’t need to know how or why something works if I can clearly see cause/effect positive results. Placebo effect is based on the power of belief, or energetics of thought and it is known to be at least 30% or more effective.
The power of our beliefs plays a huge role in our healing. Too many ignore that element.
Amazing, the healing power of the body and the power of energy and prayer!
Yes, it is. And we are far more powerful than we know. We are all capable of healing ourselves and others. Thank you for commenting!
I believe in energy healing and have witnessed many people being healed of “incurable” illnesses by natural means. Keep up the great work!
It’s hard for many to realize the true source of all illnesses. It’s an imbalance in one of our systems. And working with frequencies can change that. This is the first of 6 blogs I wrote detailing some the tests the scientists performed with this work. I didn’t realize the extent of it until I began to write the blog posts.
There has always been this tug of war between western and eastern medicine. But, the western doctors seem to be coming around to understand and even embrace a holistic approach – do you agree?
@facebook-1555608153:disqus Some are more open to it but many still have disdain for it. It’s the ego I believe. Healing practitioners must also let go of believing they are doing the healing. They are merely the catalyst or party planner. It’s still up to the client and God/Love/Source. How many times have we heard the phrase “Doctors think they are God”. Good ones know it’s not them, that the power lies outside of them. And how often have people heard doctors say “There is nothing more I can do. You might want to start praying.” They regard prayer as the last resort when it should be the first one.
