This is the 6th in a series of blogs reporting on the scientific studies conducted with Reconnective Healing™ on plants and humans by various scientists including Dr. Gary Schwartz of the University of Arizona.
The one thing that is very well known is that The Reconnective Healing™ frequencies are strong and palpable. They can be felt through physical sensations tests and they have also been proven to be real in double blind, randomized studies.
When I signed up for the training, I really didn’t know much about Reconnective Healing™ or The Reconnection. I didn’t understand the differences between them either. I was contacted and asked if I wished to be part of a study being conducted by the University of Arizona. I accepted.
So before I took the training, I had an appointment to meet with Dr. Ann Baldwin who works with Dr. Gary Schwartz. I had to sit completely still for approximately 20 minutes without moving my right arm. She hooked up a line to my ear lobe that monitors your heart rate. She covered the computer screen so I couldn’t watch what the machine was recording. She wanted to be sure no biofeedback occurred.
In this test, a machine had a beam of light in a line that was maybe 6-8 inches in length. The beam started above your fingertips and gradually worked its’ way down to just below your knuckles. It took 18-20 minutes to complete the reading.
After the training was over, I met with her again and went through the same procedure. After it was over, she showed me both scans and she was excited because she could see an increase in the energy measured from my hands from the first scan to the second. At one point during the second scan she asked me to engage the Reconnective frequencies.
What I saw was various colors but the more red around the fingers meant more frequencies. I do remember her saying that I had a very good heart pattern. She had found that most practitioners had good heart patterns and rhythms.
In addition, additional research done by scientists have shown that Reconnective Healing™ triggers significant changes in brain activity and heart activity of both the client and the practitioner during healing sessions. The brain activity was measured using EEG machines while the heart activity was measured with ECG scans. The other amazing finding was that the pracitioners ECG scan affects the client’s EEG scan.
This is confirmation of what Dr. Gary Schwartz calls Consciousness Based Healthcare. This is where the levels of consciousness through intention by the practitioner can affect the consciousness of another individual. Energy medicine is viable and effective.
Pretty fascinating and I love what I’ve learned about the scientific studies doing this study.
If you thought energy healing was a crock before, has reading these opened your mind in any way? And if so, how? Do you still have reservations? Are you more open to experiencing it?
I understood the last one better than this one. Related to it better. Fully in support of this work.
I’m not sure what you didn’t follow but I’ll try this. They had a machine that can read the energy coming from your fingers. They did it before the training and after the training to see if there was an increase. And they found an increase in the energy emitted afterwards and even more when we put our attention on the frequencies of the Reconnective Healing. I hope that helps.
I didn’t think it was a crock–I’ve done energy work–but I nonetheless really value the research information. It’s affirming just for me and also in talking to others. I also find it fascinating to learn how people figure out ways to research this kind of work. I don’t know if I ever mentioned this, but one woman I did energy work with had been a high-powered scientist in academia before becoming an energy practitioner. Maybe that path, similar to the one you took, from scientist to healer, is more common than one would imagine.

Could be. In another modality I studied there was a female scientist with a doctorate degree who worked for NASA. And I’ve met others. Maybe our path is to help other left brained people to at least consider what we do and even try it some day! Who knows. Only time will tell! I’m glad you enjoyed the series.
Hi, Julieanne.
Thanks. I came directly here and found another chapter of amazing information. Something is being measured here, but what is it? And what isn’t it?
Further evidence that the more we know, the less we understand. Someday we’ll know everything and understand nothing.
Given this evidence, Mr Spock would probably say “Fascinating!”, and think about his Mind-Meld technique.

There have been many times in my life that I wished the Mind-Meld would work both in receiving information and in giving it! LOL. Rowena was unclear too. I must have been remiss. They were measuring the amount of energy coming from our fingers and found it increased after the training. I hope this helps. I wrote a bit more in Rowena’s reply if you want to check it out.
Finding new ways to tune into our own systems so that we can heal ourselves is so exciting to me. I never understood how a doctor could talk to you for 5 minutes, listen to your heart and look down your throat and then diagnose you well enough to fit you into a drug treatment plan.
Years ago doctors took time with you. They looked at your tongue, your fingernails like the Chinese medicine doctors and they can tell alot about you that way. But nowadays, it seems more about finding a drug to cover up your symptoms. There are still good doctors but they are hard to find and usually not in your insurance plan!
Julieanne thank you so much for sharing the actual study and that it was double blind. How many were involved in the study? I’m glad you were able to be part of this study. I look forward to hearing more.

I don’t know how many were actually involved but there were 444 attendees at that seminar so from 44 to 400 is a good guess! LOL. They did it at several seminars to my knowledge. They didn’t rely on just one seminar. They conducted tests all over the world in different countries and got similar or same results. The scientists were in charge of the testing. They know to do it several times with control groups etc.
Well you know I had an intense experience working with you and don’t think energy healing is a crock anyway 🙂 Glad to see it’s still working for you.

Yes, I know you had an intense experience. It was one where I wished I could have been in the room to observe you! And yet it was pretty fantastic to hear what occurred for you and validated the power of this modality over distances. I never know what will happen and each session is unique. That’s part of the fun of it for me. The beauty is to see the healings or transformations that take place either then or over time. Love your new tag!
Julienne, I was very unfamiliar with healing energy and have found your blogs very educational and thought provoking.
I think it would be very interesting it try this type of healing.

Hi, Jean, Well if you are willing to try it long distance, I would love to facilitate your session. Just let me know. I do have some youtube videos at my channel if you want to hear more about it here:

Hi Julieanne, I have really been enjoying your article series on Reconnective Healing. I especially like the statement in this article about how the intention of the practitioner affects the client or patient. I have always know this to be true and this emphasizes the importance of self-care and integrity of the practitioner and also how important it is for a client or patient to choose the right person to work with.
Yes, I agree. But I do believe the Universe helps get the person to the practitioner that they need to see too. We all have lessons to learn and sometimes the practitioner needs a lesson now and then in the form of a client that teaches them a thing or two!
I enjoyed your post Julieanne as I feel the excitement and belief you have about alternative healing method. Like Tonya, I was not surprised to learn that the consciousness of the practitioner will affect the results of the patient and that really neat. Fascinating method! Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Thanks, Nathalie. Yes, I’m very excited about it. It is so amazing to see what happens. And it causes such awe at times. I love that it’s for human evolution as well.
I am trying to post as http://www.womenthatconnect.com Can you let me know how? Thanks Julieanne!
I think you would have to have a disqus account to do that. Yet I know you can have a web site associated with your disqus account. Jill may be the one to ask.
I don’t think there’s any doubt about those results Julieanne – I shall read more on your blog to see how this healing represents itself in a person – fascinating information, thank you 🙂
Thank you , @faf4a63b7f78d2ef1bc17c27cbe80901:disqus ! Please be sure to contact me if you have questions. I love sharing what I know about this work.
